PenoGuard is an improved fall safety barrier and, in particular, a collapsible and portable barrier for use in multi-storey building construction sites for safeguarding workers against falls down holes.

HOW IT WORKS

The Peno Guard is a 2 in 1 safety device that aims to solve all elements of the penetration safety problem.

It has a number of important safety factors, which greatly enhance the protection of workers around construction penetrations.

When in the closed position and based on the material the device has been constructed from, it visually alerts any bystander to the presence of a penetration, eliminating the need for any loosely placed signs. When in the closed position, the guard covers the hole, protecting people from falling through. The device has a safe working load of 200kg in the closed position.

In the open position, the Peno Guard is a four-sided guard rail with a safe working load of 150kg. It is easily erected, encouraging the use of the safety device even if the builders are trying to work with the least effort and time. The invention has been designed so it can only open one way and close one way.
